The Value of Small Group Meetings
By ydau
Small groups have potential for capturing and enhancing the strengths and characteristics of their members.
Even if you had chance to get to know some members of the community and you've done some one-on-one Bible study, it's very important to get involved in small groups so that you can experience various things that would help your faith grow.
Small groups have potential for capturing and enhancing the strengths and characteristics of their members. In small group meetings, we can share our dreams, hopes, worries and anxieties as well, and we can love each other more in Christ as we pray for each other.
For small group activities, you can do group Bible studies or prayer meetings. Or for fellowship, you can invite the members to dinner and talk to each other. Most importantly, you shouldn’t forget to have Christ as the center in these activities so that His warm love may always overflow in every meeting.
You can also have praise nights where you can worship God together with one heart. Worshipping together gives you a shared experience of the magnificence of God and renewal of your spirits.
Your small group meeting can grow in to a large group meeting and it can give witness to the campus, through your love for one another, of Jesus’ presence.
Through these, people will have more chances to meet with God, learn from Him and to be equipped for His service.
